For millennia, we
lived with the light
of the sun by day
and fire by night.

Let’s reclaim
the darkness

The warmest light technology can offer

KERAI. The problem.

For two million years, the only nighttime light was fire.

The human body calibrated its rhythms with that light: spectral peak at 590 nm. Amber. No blue. The ipRGC ganglion cells of the retina were not activated. Rest came naturally.

Two decades ago, blue LED (440–490 nm) invaded our nights. Those same cells detect light at 460 nm and trigger the ‘day’ signal in the brain. Resultado: melatonin suppression, altered circadian rhythm, fragmented rest.

Zero emission in the blue zone (446–480 nm). Does not suppress melatonin or disrupt circadian rhythm.

Pure amber spectrum, ideal for the hours before sleep.

The faint blue zone indicates ipRGC cell sensitivity (peak 480 nm). Critical zone: 446–480 nm.

KERAI. The solution: 1001K + Tunable White.

A designed spectrum, not simply dimmed.

If you dim a 3000K LED, you still have blue component. You only reduce intensity. The spectrum doesn’t change. Your body keeps receiving la ‘day’ signal.

1001K is a spectrum designed from scratch. Peak at 607 nm. CCT equivalent 1001K. No blue component below 500 nm. The body doesn’t interpret it as daylight. Por eso funciona.

Every moment of the day has its light.

Morning: 3000K. Soft activation, neutral light. Afternoon: 2700K–2200K. Warm comfort. Night: 1001K. Amber light, preparing for rest.

It’s not arbitrary. Every point in the range is a designed spectral recipe. Fine control through DALI-2 DT8 technology. Light doesn’t have to be the same at 8:00 as at 23:00.
